Successful self feeding can be a real challenge for persons with muscle control issues, hand ailments or other conditions. The Scooper Plate (or Scooper Bowl) with a non-skid suction base can help these persons maintain independence and free up time for a caregiver. The Scooper Plate has a slightly taller rim on one side that has a reverse curve. As food is pushed into this curled wave shape, it naturally rolls back onto a spoon or fork. The removable soft silicone-like suction base grips smooth surfaces to reduce plate movement which might result in a spill. The Scooper Plate, (similar to the Scooper Bowl) is molded of rugged, heat-resistant plastic that is smooth, easy to clean and dishwasher safe on the top rack.
