A weighted base causes this fun cup to self-right even when full of liquid and released from a lying position. When one of the two included lids is fitted in place, a knocked over cup may release a few drops of liquids but not spill the contents saving embarrassment and clean up issues. Two included lids offer a choice depending on abilities and needs - one has a "spout" mouth piece as seen on “sippy cups”, the other lid has a dish shaped depression with two holes to allow fluid to flow into the dish for drinking; this may serve as a training aid for graduation to an open cup.
