Adapts easily for left or right hand showers A transfer bench provides safer access to a bath tub for people who have difficulty getting in and out of the tub or shower. Simply sit on the end of the bench outside the tub, then slide over into the tub area. Height adjustable legs (16-21") can be set at an optimal height to permit the safest transition from standing to sitting. The back is easily relocated to change the bench for either right or left hand tubs. Rubber feet prevent the seat from moving. To help keep the shower enclosed and water inside the tub, a strip of the shower curtain can be inserted into the open slot in the outside end of the bench. A molded-in recess holds a hand held shower sprayer; there is also a molded in soap dish. The all plastic construction is rugged, rust proof and supports up to 300lbs.
