Bathrooms shared by small children and adults can become cluttered with a child size toilet seat adapter that sets on the existing toilet. When not in use, that child’s toilet can become a tripping hazard. That seat may also need separate cleaning after each use and prior to storage. The family toilet seat includes a second, built in, fold down child sized seat fitted between a standard adult toilet seat and lid. The smaller opening keeps children safe when using the toilet and is simple to learn how to use independently. Any cleaning needed is the same as with a regular toilet seat. Adults using the toilet merely hinge the child size seat up into the lid, out of the way and yet always ready for use. The smaller, child size seat opening measures 6.5” front to back and 5.3” across. The standard style seat opening measure 10” front to back and 8.5” across. This complete replacement seat with lid and child size toilet seat fits all standard toilets; unfortunately it is not designed for use with elongated toilets.
