The model with the "arms up" elevates the toilet seat and adds armrests and handholds to help people who have difficulty rising from or lowering to a toilet. The model with the "arms down" elevates the toilet seat and provides a transfer surface to the toilet. Both are one piece seats, molded from rugged and easy to clean polyethylene. It bolts securely under the existing seat adding 3" (7.6 cm) to the seat and lid height while maintaining the functionality and decor of the user's toilet. A specialized hardware kit with longer bolts is included along with easy installation instructions. Please note, this seat can only be used with standard toilets with bowl opening of about 11” from front to back, it will not work with elongated models which measure about 13” front to back. |
