Installed with the "arms up" it’s a toilet seat with armrests and handholds to help people who have difficulty rising from or lowering to a toilet but who don't need an elevated seat or grab bars. Installed with the “arms down” it’s a wheelchair transfer seat to the toilet. The one piece seat is molded from rugged and easy to clean polyethylene. Using the existing seat bolts, it is attached securely under the existing seat adding only 1 1/8"(2.9 cm) to the seat and lid height while maintaining the functionality and decor of the user's toilet. Please note, this seat can only be used with standard toilets with bowl opening of about 11” from front to back, it will not work with elongated models which measure about 13” front to back. |
